Welcome to Amana City.
City of nothing.
Full of death, and gambling, and senseless violence of all natures.
Ours is a city where the Underworld is a group of nobodies fighting for peace to reclaim the city. Hypocrisy, I say, the only way to acquire peace for my city would be to kill the current inhabitants, so tell me, how can peace exist?
In this glorious city of chaos and brutality, there are three controlling forces; the Pack, the Clan and GRUNGE.
The Pack is the cities Were pack, no other pack is allowed to exist. Lead by their mighty Alpha, Regan, the Pack own the south side of the city. Any Were belonging to Regan wears a collar that, it’s believed, is actually melded into their skin, with rank and identification on it. So be wary if you spot a Were-creature without one. Weres can be recognised by their unnatural eye colouring, and sometimes, like in the case of Regan, animalistic features.
Now, not a whole lot is known about the Clan. The Vampires it controls are secretive, although there is a rumour that they might be brought into the light by their new leader sometime soon – metaphorically of course, it’s well known that Vampires burn up in the sunlight – then again, there hasn’t a been a sun over our city for over two hundred years. Nobody knows who controls the Clan, however rumour has it that it’s a new Vampire. I don’t know, they could be centuries old for all I care. Spotting a Vampire can be hard, as the city is full of pale, sun-deprived bastards. However look for the crucifix that all Vampires have burned onto their body. Their eyes tend to also be unnatural colours. The Clan control the north side of the city.
Finally we reach the GRUNGE. These are the worst of the three ruling groups, because they’re Human. No insane force or instinct drives them, no unholy supernatural being controls them. No they’re Humans pure and simple. Sick, barbaric Humans that make even the filthy inhabitants of the city look like damn saints. They rape, torture and kill for no reason at all. GRUNGE has a serious arsenal, including weapons that work against the Weres and Vampires, and never count out those Humans with elemental powers, those who are gifted with an affinity for one of the six elements, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light and Dark, those are dangerous bastards. The GRUNGE patrols the centre of the city.
Next up there’s the Underworld, a very well hidden group of Weres, Vampires and Humans trying to reclaim the city for peace and law and bring back the sun. They work hard to recapture the favour of the Gods and try their hardest to bring a peaceful end to the city’s evil.
Then there’s us, the run of the mill scumbags, who whore our bodies out, gamble, drink, fight, steal, whatever the hell we want. There are plenty of whorehouses, and minor gangs that inhabit the city…everyone of us is destined for something. We all end up in one the three forces or we die as we are.
And who wants that.
So where do you fit in this mess of a city?
It’s time to cross the finish line and stand firm as our city is set alight and continues to burn.
Where. Do. You. Stand?
