Wolf stretched and sighed. It was a lazy day to say the least. She was off duty for hunting today and decided that it was time she got some trading materials. She had decided to go to the river and search for shells. They were just something she could give to teh merchants to trade for some cloth, maybe for forging a weapon? Shells could be made into anything depending on how big they were. While she wasn't very popular with most of those who lived in the village there were plenty of girls with shells around their necks that she had collected herself.
Chloe padded beside her as she walked up to the waters to scower their edges. Wolf slipped off her shoee, an un-usual sight on wolf, these shoes. They were probably her only pair of sneakers, but her usual leather boots would not do well in teh mud, and she didn't want mud on the inside of them either. Leaving her shoes on teh dry bank, Wolf bent down in the water, squatting to see the bottom better. Chloe sniffed the edges and yawned. She went with Wolf everywhere nowadays, and had decided to follow her master out. Sure it took hours to get the mud off of her paws when she tagged along here, but she didn't mind. The taste of dirt was worth it.
Holding up a rather large shell, Wolf froze at the same time Chloe did. The turned together and watched the forest line. Chloe stepped towards Wolf, a low growl rumbling in her chest. The wind wasn't blowing right, but someone was there, they could feel it.
