Saraphina controls the power of fire. With only two problems of course. The first one being that she can't control it sometimes, and instead of letting someone else get's hurt by it, she hurts herself which is why she has so many burns on her fingers. Also, To control her fire she either needs fire to be near her or she needs some sort of steady friction with any part of her body. What this healer tends to do is that she'll snap her fingers multiple times very quickly to create friction between her finger and her thumb. All of the friction ends up heating up and bursting into a small flame that she can control.
Over time of figuring out her power, Saraphina learned how to control the size of her flame and shape it as well. When she creates a flame in her hands she tends to smooth out the fire along two of her fingers, making it seem like an extra skin of some sorts. That way, when somebody comes in with an open wound or is heavily injured she can seal up their wounds better by burning them shut. It isn't a too painful process, and many hunters that she has tended to is used to any pains caused by now. In other ways she uses her powers, she uses it to sterilize needles that are used or if she has to heat up something. Saraphina is always willing to help others with her powers.
On another note, Saraphina isn't usually hostile with her powers. She's thinks that she should use them to help people out, not to hurt people or others. But if it comes down to having to protect her friends and family she wouldn't hesitate to use them. Luckily, her older brother who it also a fire user and a hunter helps teach Saraphina how to fight with the hot flames and teach her complete control over them. He had to do this because when she had recieved this power, like said, she couldn't control it and would burn herself.

* Saraphina has a long diagonal scar on her back reaching from her right shoulder to her left hip. The story behind it she usually keeps secret, and tries to hide the mark that forever stays on her body.
* She has both of her ears pierced and her left ear cartilage pierced.
* Finally, she has burns all on her fingers(And here and there on her body)but usually wears long fingerless gloves to hide most of it so she can still work.

Saraphina is a thin petite girl who's rather short for her age. Her smooth skin that's nearly always pale or lightly tanned helps show out her beautiful hair. This young beauty has short vibrant red hair that reaches a little past her chin but not quite to her shoulders. They style of it is that it's in layers almost, but in reality her hair is actually just normally cut with a few different lengths mixed in. I must add though that she has both of her ears pierced as well as her left ear's cartlidge. Something she had done out of boredom, and it reminded her of her mother due to her mother having the very same piercings when she was younger. Along with her mostly pale complexion, pierced ears, and red hair, Saraphina has some pretty eye catching eyes. Their green but golden hue always catches anyone's attention even if they're merely just walking by her. Other than her small body frame, and altough she doesn't have that big of...things that guys like, Saraphina is considered a rather pretty girl. But not to find herself plan looking she usually wears different outfits a lot of the time that are either very cute, or make her look like a complete tomboy which she doesn't mind at all. Mind you though no matter what outfit Saraphina is wearing, you will always find a necklace around her neck that was made by her mother. Simpley it's a piece of wood that had been chisled, and sculpted into a heart. That very heart is connected to a string that now forever lays around her neck.
Saraphina has a series of different outfits, some for example are:
* One outfit consists of a black long sleeved shirt laced at the top with purple( It also has straps). On her feet she has black and purple flats that match her shirt. Saraphina also has a skirt that's a dark purple-ish red that has abstract designs on it along with black leggings. Over that she wears a tan hoodie with old lining. Finally to match the hoodie she has a button skirt thats of the same design that goes over her regular skirt.
* Another outfit that Saraphina owns is that of a simple orange dress that has tan lining right underneath her breasts and puffy sleeves that have cuffs that end just above her elbow. Around her shoulder consists of a dark blue shawl. Along with this outfit she wears tan boots that folds over her ankles that match her dress perfectly.
* A more simple outfit that Saraphina owns is a simple blue short sleeved dress with a bit of lace. Underneath that she wears a green long sleeved shirt and matching green leggings. To finish the outfit she has blue flats.
* The last usual outfit she has on shows her clad in a white turtle neck with long black sleeves. As well as a tan colored long sleeved vest like shirt on over it. Around the shoulders of the vest it has a black design, then on the sleeves a blue design on the edges that matches the blue tall collar. With that, she has matching pants and black boots.

* Friendly. A strength of Saraphina's is that she's is constantly friendly towards other people. Especially to her patients because who really wants their patient to be all rude to you if you're not friendly? Usually she doesn't force herself to be caring and friendly towards others, so in return she gets the same friendliness back. To be nice and caring towards others makes them feel more relaxed, and happier. Which is exactly what Sarapina wants the people around her to feel.
* Trustful. Another strength of Saraphina's is that people find this loving girl very trustworthy and tell her a lot of things. This is how she gets to know most people, and why she knows a lot of her patients so very well. But having people find you trustworthy can be an advantage if you use your information right. Not like Saraphina has any reason to use it in that way.
* Quick Thinker. Saraphina has always been a quick thinker, even at a young age.(Altough not at that time.) She acts quickly and doesn't hesitate that often to do something. If she wants to do something, the moment she thinks of it she'll decide whether or not it's okay to do and then well do it! This helps in tight situations, but at times she just freezes up and blanks.

* Emotional. This is a very bad weakness of Saraphina's. She'll burst into tears if anything reminds her of her past, or simpley if something makes her sad. Her emotions are everywhere, and if you get her angry, she'll become PISSED. Everything she feels is like intensified, Happy is an extremely good mood. Sad is Depressed, Angry is Pissed and so on. Usually she can't control her emotions.
* Closed off/Shy. Saraphina, if she doesn't know you very well will completely close herself off and will be so very quiet. It's like she goes entirely shy and gets a bit confused. But the more she gets to know you, she'll open up and actually interact more with you.
* Anxiety. Depending on if it's a bad situation, if she's scared, or if she's worried about something, Saraphina will get bad Anxiety. She gets the works of it, Heart Palpitations, Faintness, Dizziness, Chest pain, Shortness of breath, and over all fatique. Panick attacks occur for her when she gets like this and to describe the feeling of all those symptoms together...All you can say is that it feels like you're dying.

* Saraphina blames herself for the murder of her Mother. She feels that if she tried hard enough she could've prevented it instead of just standing there and watching in horror.
* Although she's constantly smiling around people, when she's all alone she goes off to the hangout and lays in a hammock, her back facing everyone. All she does is lay like that and try not to break down. Usually if she ends up starting to cry she goes to the herb grove to be mostly alone, using the excuse of having to get more herbs to go there or she's on break and the herb gathers need help when they actually don't.
* Although she claims that a Mutated Animal gave her the scar that is on her back, it was actually her father who did it to her.
»»general personality:
Saraphina is generally a girl who puts on a smile to hide her broken self. If she's infront of children she'll always be smiling, talking to them and being completely patient. She'll entertain them, and help them. But when it comes to people around her age she'll always be nearly completely silent, and not talk to them. It's all because of a trust issue that she has due to her Father's Antics. But as you get to know her, she'll open up to you and be all smiles. Saraphina is actually a very pleasant girl, not depressing in any way except that she's over emotional like said. Just don't get her upset, or ask about her past and she'll be fine. If you can actually make her open up about her past, expect tears and a break down. She always is bottling up her feelings, so once in a while she needs to let them spill all out to somebody.
Other than that, Saraphina is a very helpful girl which is why she likes to be a healer. Helping out the injured, and taking care of people is her specialty. She'll never just walk by someone who needs help, without a thought Saraphina will do whatever she can for them. It's just how she is, and don't expect her not to be friendly towards you because she usually is.

»»siblings: Saraphina has twin younger sisters who are of the young age of 11. One of them is named Destree, while the other is name Kissandra. Also,(Un)-Fortunately she has an older half-brother who's named Dimitrius and is of the age of 19.

Saraphina grew up in what she thought was a normal family. A Happy mother who loved to cook and help others, and a bipolar angry father. Yes a very Bipolar father. He was always having a constant change in mood, which absolutely terrified his oldest daughter. Ulrich Rituilia used to actually lash out at times, especially at his wife Parais. When he would end up lashing out, Saraphina always used to run and grab her two little twin sisters Destree and Kissandra to make sure they were safe. Then she'd take them in another room and wait until her horrifying father was done yelling, and sometimes hitting their mother. Usually, while they were hiding in a closet her older brother Dimitrius used to try to break up the fight between their parents. He as in a result, would always end up getting hurt in some way. A broken arm, a bruise, a cut and so on. Ulrich despised Dimitrius because he was the result of Parais's past relationship. But that is another story for another time.
Other than her home life with all her the incidents that have to do with her father, Saraphina who was born on April 12th lived happily. She was always playing outside, helping out people with whatever they needed. That was, because that's the way her mother raised her. To be Helpful, and friendly. Everyone knew her as the little girl who was always so peppy and full of cheer. So as long as Saraphina was like that, and always outside, growing up would be easy for her. Yet, she was always indoors for she felt the need to protect her Mother from her Father when her Brother Dimitrius was not around to help. She would send Destree and Kissandra to the children watchers, and stay at home. One night when she stayed home, something tragic happened. It will never ever leave Saraphina's mind.
Her Father Ulrich did not know that eleven year old Saraphina was home, and playing in the living room with a small rag doll her Mother made for her. She stayed where she was and played for a good hour before hearing a rather large bang. Going to explore and check out this peculiar noise, she found something she rather have not of seen. The noise had came from the kitchen certainly, and when she arrived she saw that it was a complete mess. Silverware was everywhere, tables and chairs turned over, oh and did I mention her father standing over her dead mother with a bloody knife? Upon her father hearing her screams of terror, he noticed that indeed the girl was home saw what he had done. So she wouldn't run and tell someone about it, Ulrich hastily took Saraphina and brought the kicking and screaming girl to her room. To summarize what happened from then on, is that he tortured her. Hit her, cut her, choked her. It was so bad that she had bruises all over and her Father even took the same knife he stabbed her mother to death with and dragged it from her right shoulder down to her left hip. Saraphina screamed through the entire thing, feeling how the knife dragged through her body. It was then that she started blacking out, and heard a yell of some sort from what she thought was a girl. As her vision was being embraced in darkness, she heard a big yell come from her father and a thump next to her. Before passing out of blood loss, the last things she felt were someone picking her up and blood dripping from the huge wound on her back. The next thing she knew, she was waking up in the Infirmary all bandaged up and confused. From then a doctor had explained what had fully happened, and that a few passerbyers had heard her screaming. Infact, a girl named Hayyel had heard her and had brought with her an adult before exploring the insides of the house to find Elrich and herself. Hayyel had rushed forward and had gotten Saraphina while the adult took Elrich down and fortunately killed him. From then on, Saraphina met Hayyel and became closed to the girl who was around the same age as herself. Throughout the years she became friends with her, and could actually act pretty normal when with her. Only because Hayyel knew what had happened, and she could trust the now Hunter.
Having to stay in the Infirmary for quite some time, Saraphina got sick of it. She absolutely hated waiting to heal up so to pass time she had her caring Brother Dimitrius come and bring her books so she could read. He had always brought something new, the topics ranging from Princesses to Medical terms. As soon as he had started bringing things that had to do with healing and medical like things, Saraphina became hooked, begging her brother to bring her more books like those ones. Agreeing to the request, Dimitrius brought more books that had information on herbs and the such. She read them all from cover to cover, wanting to know how to heal faster and better. Before she knew it she was getting out of the Infirmary and allowed to go home. Not being in the hospital didn't stop her reading though, and Saraphina continued to read healing books like the such. She had become interested in helping others with their wounds or injuries, and knowing the pain that they caused, she wanted to lessen that load off of someone. Then on, she knew what she wanted to be. Saraphina had wanted to be a healer, which began her journey of studying and practicing to become one.

Thirteen year old Saraphina sat on the floor of her living room, a very familiar place, somewhere that she had always sat around in. Her greenish gold eyes stared at her slender hand she held out in front of herself, a hard concentrated look was on her face." Alright Saraphina, you can do this." She whispered to herself, her voice just an airy wind that blew so gentley you could barely feel it. Feeling ready to try once more, she rubbed her fingers together repeatedly. The feeling of heat radiated off of them, and she knew that soon a small flame would burst.
Dimitrius walked in the room just in time to see a small flame appear just inches from his little sister's fingers. Becoming totally silent, he leaned against the wall in interest as to see if she could control her power yet. He had wanted to laugh at the face that his sister was making, but knew that would take her out of her concentrated trance and she'd probably burn herself once again. After a few minutes of the flame being able to withstand the control of Saraphina's will, she let out a quick breath she had been holding in and simply let the flame disappear. Dimitrius grinned, seeing that she was making progress. But that very cheerful face fell as he looked at his sister's fingers and noticed how there were more burns on her fingers now than before. It was noticable, the inflammed red skin just stood out for anyone to notice.
" Sara?" He called out softly, walking over and sitting in front of his sister. He took notice that she had a bowl of cold water next to her as well as a rag. She looked up at him with a small grin, her forehead showing evidence of sweat because her hair stuck to it." Did you see that Dimi? I controlled it!" Saraphina exclaimed, her eyes although tired showed excitement. Dimitrius chuckled, taking the rag and soaking it into cold water before holding her hand gentley in his, and wrapping the rag around it." I saw I saw. I'm very proud of you Saraphina. Keep up the good work kiddo. Maybe you'll be a little better at the sealing trick you've got goin'." He told her, taking his free hand and ruffling the short red hair that she had.
Saraphina grinned, and pointed to her arm where it was lightly red. The flushed color was fading away and Dimitrius only laughed at the sight of it." I already tried it! Don't get mad but I kinda cut myself a little, and tried it out. I did like you told me, and smoothed out the fire on my fingertip before dragging it along the cut. It stung a little but I did it Dimi!" She giggled lightly, and he was atleast happy to see her smiling and proud of her own self.
" That's wonderful Sara, I won't get mad but don't do that again okay? Plus, if you keep up the good work maybe you can be a healer when your older just like you've wanted." Dimitrius encourage his younger sister, liking the smile that danced across her tired face." Really?!" She exclaimed as he merely nodded to confirm it. Sighing out in relief, knowing her progress was good, she shifted her position and leaned against her older brother." Thank goodness, I was worried I wouldn't be able to help anyone with the rate I'm going at Dimi."
