Crossroads, California, a typical city or so it seems.
Myth and legends walk the streets in the guises of humans, their true forms hiding just underneath.
Vampires with souls and dragons in human form, many types of creatures roam the city.
Everything was peaceful until a hundred years ago when a war broke out amongst the creatures,
vampire against vampire, witch against witch.
Known as the rogues, creatures dedicated to the destruction of the human race.
Humans got caught in the middle of the war; a few brave joined the creatures calling themselves Hunters of the Dark.
The creatures and the hunters beat the rogues but did not completely destroy them; the rogues went into hiding for forty years until resurfacing one by one.
Now 2011 the city has grown and much has changed but the hunters still track and kill the rogues trying to regain the peaceful city they once had.
