LAST YEAR, the student body faced an unseen danger in the form of shadows. An ancient evil as old as the world itself had nestled itself in the heart of the Forbidden Forest. Those perceptive enough were able to sense something was wrong, and a handful were chosen to fight the age-old battle; Darkness Vs. Light.
IN THE END, Light prevailed and drove the dark forces back into the recesses of a parallel world called The Shadow Realm, presumably never to be seen again. Subsequently, all of the powers the chosen ones had received to vanquish the evil were released from their hosts and dispersed themselves across time and space, only to be called on again if the darkness successfully penetrates its way into our world again.
IT IS A NEW DAY as the incoming students are eager to be sorted. While many faces remain the same, there are a striking number of new additions, including a new Headmaster that nobody seems to have seen yet. The sudden disappearance of the previous Headmistress, Caira LaPointe, has gotten the entire school whispering rumors left and right. Only those that were involved with the battle last year can connect the dots.
Are the forces of darkness really banished forever? Who exactly IS the new Headmaster and why does he keep such a low profile? Why does the Ministry keep sending officials to check on the school?
We'll all find out as THE DAY GOES ON
