»»general appearance: Ray is tall and slender girl who has a very tough and careless appearance about her. Her eyes are always fixed with an expression of either deep thought, or troubled expression. This makes her eyes come off as being very intense and are her most distinguishing feature. In the daylight they appear to be a dull brown color, as though the dark brown coloring faded away with time. But at night under the moon, they become a light gray. She has brown short hair that falls past her ears, but it’s her bangs that often hang in front of her eyes often shielding away her facial expressions. She isn’t one who looks angry, bitter, or overwhelmingly cheery. Instead she is the one who appears to be contemplative and always waiting, as though something may strike at any second. She is a valued member of the council for she always takes her time mulling things over before coming to her own conclusions. As for what she wears, it varies from day to day. On casual days she wears a long purple dress that stops at knee level. But most days she sticks to wearing a dark purple shirt and light pair of jeans. The only thing that stays remains the same is her red jacket and dark brown boots. And then there is the matter of her knife that she always carries on her, hidden within her red jacket. The blade is long and twists into a sharp point. The handle itself is well balanced, she carries it mostly to carve up sticks that she finds in the words, but it also serves as a helpful aid when in trouble.

»»strengths:
Hunter: Rey is an excellent hunter, she lives and breathes hunting. She’s learned to move with the shadows and how to stay as silent as the proverbial cat. But she doesn’t always use her powers to hunt, she loves to throw her dagger and strike down her targets. The whole throwing of weapons has grown on her because of this so, she managed to fashion her own bow. This she is still working on. Other than that, she knows how to set snares and also knows her way around the forest to get the job done.
Inventing: As already noted before, she is very handy when it comes to fashioning things that she needs. Just like the bow and arrow, Rey makes things as she sees fit. Her mind always stirring, helps her to come up with new ideas. She loves making weapons the most, something about perfecting the balance and grip of each weapon fills her with a sense of pride.
»»weaknesses:
Swimming: If it’s one thing that can be said, it’s that she doesn’t know how to swim. Forget about it, the moment she puts one foot in the water her body sinks like a rock. Rey never learned how to swim even at a young age. Her most common excuse is that the woods were always too dangerous.
The children: She has a weak spot when it comes to them, something about their small faces remind Rey of when she was little. All she sees is that dark time when all the adults had died including her own parents. Since then she made a secret vow to watch over them. Rey would do anything for the younger ones if it meant keeping them safe.
»»secrets: The real reason Rey never learned to swim, was because she’s afraid of large bodies of water. Her own two parents were sent to the very bottom of the lake when they passed. Since then she can only picture them coming up from the water and dragging her back down with them.
»»general personality:
Rey is seen as the loner of the group, the one body that clings to the outside of the village, seeing as how she tries to stay away from most people. Many would easily claim her to be anti-social or a person of a bitter personality, but she is far from that. Rey just prefers the solitude and spends most of her days thinking or hunting. With so many thoughts that swirl around in her mind she can often come off as being distracted. She tries to keep her emotions in check, and never really show them but the children have been known to make her smile. She feels more at home around them, as though they are the siblings she never had. Rey is a helpful individual and kind though her emotions may never express this fully. Usually she sticks to the same monotone voice even when she is in a good mood. She has her secrets and tends not to express what she truly feels. Her fears are under lock and key just like anything else. Sometimes she is pegged as the runner, a person who tries to run away from all their problems no matter what the cost. But Rey does have her strengths and loves to stay in the forest despite how dangerous it is. Out her she feels like her true self, or whatever that may be.
the history,
»»mother: Labella (deceased)
»»father: Mirken (deceased)
»»siblings: never born
»»others: none
»»background:
She had been there, just the like the others her age. Then there were the smaller ones who would come to never remember the day. But Rey would, she had seen her parents sitting at a table speaking to one another, and just like that they were gone. Their bodies had been slumped over when she’d found them on that fateful day. The shock of it all took her far away from the village where she kept on running. She wouldn’t cry, she’d forever keep her feelings inside of her. That day easily took her back to years before that. Rey could almost picture the day she was born, her parents loved her and that was a simple fact. She loved the woods and everything about them. Her father had taught her many things, he was very skillful with his hands, and this she remembered. Her mother on the other hand, taught her how to be gentle and kind. Her mother was a very wise individual, she learned how to assess a situation and think of the best way to tackle a problem. Even after their death, Rey hung onto both of these things. She stayed between her own lines, she wasn’t good or bad, she was only Rey.
Growing up Rey used what she had learned to determine her own fate, she acted on what was right according to her own morals. She didn’t need a side to dictate the kind of person she was. Because of this she wound up as a member of the council, she would serve as the balance in between, sort of the neutral member of the entire ordeal. But when she wanted to escape this life she’d leave to go hunting, she loved this more than anything else. The quiet that followed, and only her own footsteps that treaded lightly. She’d never had any brothers or sisters, well a sibling had been on its way but the disease had ended that small hope. Always feeling that lingering pain, it wasn’t long before Rey helped out with children. It wasn’t all the time, she was just sixteen and still trying to find her own. But when she managed to stop by, Rey would help out. Every face could’ve been her own sibling.
Now at nineteen she still sits in council meetings unsure of what is to come next. Her thoughts have taken over and she is almost seen as the loner of the village. Every day she questions her morals and whether or not she is leaning towards one side. Two battles are raging on, the one of the forest itself, and her own inner turmoil. Rey isn’t sure where this will lead her just yet, but she is trying to find the answers.

It was early in the morning when Lizzy woke up, and to no surprise she found Thatcher curled up at the end of her bed. *What are you afraid of sleeping on the floor?* Lizzy asked raising an eyebrow at him. Thatcher only stared back at her letting out a small whine, but she could still understand him perfectly. *No, you just try sleeping on the ground for a change, in case you haven't noticed it doesn't exactly provide comfort.* Lizzy raised her hands slightly above her head in form of surrendering, *Alright you win, now get up so I can get some breakfast I'm hungry.* Her tone was on the verge of sounding generally annoyed but then laughing, she smiled and patted Thatcher on the head. *You call coffee breakfast?* Thatcher always loved giving her a bad time about here coffee cravings. *I guess that means you won't be going then*, Lizzy replied sarcastically but knowing how well it worked on the Great Dane. *…On second thought it doesn't sound too bad.* With that Thatcher jumped down from off the bed and padded his way through the house waiting for her by the door. "Hm, that's what I thought", Lizzy said aloud. Finding a pair of cloths on the floor she slipped into them and then out the door for her daily ritual.
