[Shade Grace]

After Shade got all of the things she could think of, she walked back to her cabin, looking around for her cousin. "Reese!" The little blond boy stumbled from the steps, straightening up in front of Shade. "Yeah." Shade rolled her eyes. "I'm gunna be gone for a little while. Make sure Hayyel doesn't follow me and Skip doesn't get into the fridge." Reese's eyes widened slightly. "I can deal with Hayyel, but how do you expect me to keep your...thing out of our food?" Shade rolled her eyes. "Toss him a bird bone or something. The neighbors yipping little animal would do fine." She swept back out of the house, leaving her little cousin to tend to the house.

She jumped through the varying trees, keeping the darkness around to shroud her as she spun higher until coming to the lake. She sighed and hopped down, immediately surrounded by different creatures. She smirked, waving her hand. All but one backed away. "Hey Skip. Getting into any good mischief lately?" One of the ugliest creatures bounded up to her, skidding to a stop in front of her. She patted him in between his horns, walking to the lake. She took her pack off of her shoulder, tossing Skip and a few of the other creatures scraps of meat from her last hunting trip. They fought over it, Skip laying down next to Shade's feet as she stretched out by the bank. Other creatures snarled at her, some of them coming up for her to pet them. She laughed as they crawled under her arm, Ship growling at them.

She looked around. The woods were eirly quiet and Shade glared around at them. She then cast her gaze lower to the creatures mingling around the lake. She watched a few fight and others come in and out of the lake and it's clearing. Skip wandered away, starting a fight with another creature. Shade laughed, watching them. Sher sent her shadow to mess with the other creatures eyes, Skip quickly taking the advantage and pouncing onto the other creature. He won easily and the other limped away. Skip looked over at Shade and she nodded. She smirked, looking around at the creatures again and sighing. The thought never crossed her mind of having Skip as a pet being weird. She actually enjoyed his company. He often helped her and her partners take down the creature they were tracking, but she often had to help Skip out of his own predicament a few times. She was barely paying attention to the other creatures, a bad mistake, as she got lost in her thoughts.

[Hexus Manifesto]

Suddenly Agony came out the forest and stud 8 feet away from the creatures and Shade her arms crossed. Malice soon appeared out the forest as well standing next to Agony with no emotion on her face. ""Well now what do we have here? It looks like we have another foolish villager in the forest. Hmmm and a really cute one at that." Agony said looking at Shade up and down then licked her lips. Malice slowly set her eyes on the creatures and slowly a smile appeared on her face. The two shadow lolita girls never attacked the just stud there waiting for their orders.

Then Hexus appeared behind the girls with his hands behind his back and looked at the creatures before looking at Shade. He did not look it but He was surprised to see the creatures hanging around with Shade and not trying to eat her."Well now this is new. Why are they not attacking you girl?" Hexes said simply.

Shade's head flicked over when the girls appear but she quickly regained her composure. Skip slunk over next to her, baring his teeth at the intruders. Shade rolled her eyes and stood up, placing her hand over her katana's hilt. "I think the main question here is what the hell do you freaks want?"

She looked the two girls over, then she looked back at Hexus. "It's none of you business why they don't attack me. I wouldn't tell a rotten ass hat like you anyways. A few creatures had joined behind Skip. They all looked at each other licking their lips. If there was going to be a fight, they would wait patiently for the scraps. Shade snapped her fingers though and they quieted, slinking away as Skip started growling at them. When they'd left he returned his attention to the three standing by the trees. Shade reached down and petted him in between his horns and he laid down on her command. "Easy Skip. I'll let you have their bones when I'm through with them." Skip howled, as if in laughter, making several other creatures howl with him and others rush away.

Thalia Walked Out Of The Forest Her Gaze Cold, the animals turned towards her, surprized. Her Medium Brown Hair Was Choppily Cut Across Her Mid-back. She Was Fairly Far Away From Both Of The People Here, "since When Is This A Popular Spot?" She Muttered To Herself. Walking Forward A Few Steps So She Stood By The Bank And Whistled A Long Whistle. A Mutated Animal Flapped Out Of The Sky, Thalia Had Found It Injured Recently And Had Took To It. She Held Out Her Arm Which Was Hidden In Her Leather jacket And The Animal Landed On It.

It Was A Black Animal With Webbed Wings And Horns But It's Build Was Of A Bird. Thalia Smiled Warmly At The Creature Before Looking Back To The People Who Milled Around The Lake. "hi." She Called Regaining Her Cold Tone. Thalia Was In A Mood Today, One Of Those Bad Days.

Her Head Hurt A Bit As She Tried To Find Memories That Just Weren't There. This Was Her Stupid Amnesia's Fault. She Realized She Had Let Her Thoughts Wonder Like A Rabbit, Again. "hmph." She Sighed. Why Did She Do This So Easily.

The Mutated Bird Shifted It's Legs, It's Talons Were Sharp And They Would've Hurt If Not For The Jacket That Protected The Girl's Arm.

"Oh my she has suck a dirty mouth. Hexus can i have fun with this girl. I can put her dirty mouth to good use if you know what i mean." Agony said in a seductive voice sliding her finger against her chest slowly getting turned on by Shades rude words. Tch. Your disgusting Agony." Malice said simply to Agony. Agony quickly turned to Malice with a dirty look on her. "SHUT UP YOU LITTLE BRAT YOUR JUST JEALOUS THAT I'M OLDER THEN YOU AND YOUR BODY IS NOT DEVELOPED LIKE MINE!!! Agony shouted at Malice. "I don't care if my body is not developed and even if it was i'll never act the way you do you slu-" Hexus then used his power to shut the girls up by making shadow tentacles appear from the ground and wrap around their bodies and their mouths.

Then he walked forward going between the two girls and then stud in front of them. "I'm sorry about them and its ok there no need to get into a fight. I just really interested in your ability to control these beasts that is all." Hexus said in a calm voice while the two shadow girls were getting squeezed harder by the tentacles.

[Shade Grace]

Shade glanced over at the girl who'd spoken and shook her head, willing her to stay out of this. Skip growled as Hexus came closer and Shade's fingers hooked around her katana. "I'm sure you'll be much more sorry if you take another step closer. I don't control them. They just stay at bay from Skip. I'm not surprised the stay away from you though. You reek like hell itself." Shade glared over his shoulder at Agnoy, but looked back at the girl standing by the tree. She glanced at Sip, who'd lifted his head as the bird flew onto her arm. She snapped her fingers and he bolted straight up, watching Hexus again.

Shade snapped her fingers again and a few other creatures formed a semi circle around Hexus. Their shadows darkened on Shade's silent command and formed into black duplicates of the creatures. The creatures didn't seem to notice though and the Shadow Copies started barking and growling at Hexus, scratching their feet against the ground and becoming fierce. "My friends don't like your presence I suggest you leave." She grasped her katana, pulling it slightly out of it's hilt. Skip was crouching to the ground, looking like he was ready to pounce on Hexus. Shade whistled and more creatures swooped down into the trees. "I believe you're out numbered kid. I'd watch your back if I were you." A large creature, almost the ize of Skip jumped over Hexus' shoulder and went to Shade's unoccupied side. She couldn't help but smirk.

Thalia sighed, she recognised the face of the boy, Hexus (if he's a dark she would ^^). The girl she did not, but she seemed not to be a softy, good this would be fun. Though at the moment she knew she was dealing with a dark she had no clue where the girl's loyalties lied. It was better to break up the fight than blow her perfect cover as a council-person.

"Now, now." she purred flicking her wrist. The bird... if you could call it that flapped up and hovered just above her shoulder. With her hands now free she quickly grabbed flint and steel and flicked them together, a spark. It flew up then drifted by Thalia's face. She blew and it grew into a small flame, perfect. Catching it the flame grew to the size of her palm. This flare turned the heads of almost all the beasts, who cowered a bit.

"Please, let's not play this game. I already have a head-ache, I don't need to waste my time breaking up a bitty fight." called Thalia bitterly. the bird cackled in agreement. "It seems even a bird has sense enough!" The bird beat it's webbed wings gracefully, ready for a command. "Don't worry, Yew. Soon enough." she thrummed in a whisper. "If they fight you'll have your fun."

Hexus soon started to laugh at Shade first it was normal but then got crazy and he laughed like this for a while until finally he calmed down and got serious. "Well well well it looks like you have almost the same power as me. Now this is very very interesting indeed." Hexus said then his voice changed into a darker tone. "And first off i'm not a kid like you i'm an adult and second i tried speaking nice to you but it looks like you want me to speak dirty so alright i'll start speaking dirty so my words will get through that hard head of yours. Now listen you little shit i lived in this forest ever sense the village banished me long ago. I learned how to survive here and make traps and i been around this entire forest so much that i never get lost and if you think for one FUCKING second that i'm scared of these creatures then i'm sorry to burst your bubble you little shit stain but i'm not scared.....and if you don't believe me.... then i'll be glad to show you." He said as dark aura began surrounding him.

He was about to summon up shadow monsters when all of a sudden Thalia and her bird appeared in his sites and the dark aura around him vanished. He glared at Thalia and started to get angry at her as he heard her words. He had no problem fighting two people at once and if the two girls tried anything funny he would quickly defend himself. He really did not know about Thalia and he did not know she knew him.

Meanwhile in the background the shadow tentacles continued to squeeze Agony and Malice but soon they disappeared letting the two shadow girls drop to the ground breathing heavily and coughing and just like the tentacles the two shadow girls disappeared and would be summoned again if Hexus needed them.

Some of the creatures turned and snapped at Thalia and her pet. Skip kept his eyes narrowed and on Hexus. He didn't like his tone towards Shade. On the other head though, Shade's smirk grew with each name she called her. She snickered as hesitated from using his powers as Thalia came closer with her ball of flame. She glanced over at her. "Well, I hate to break it to you, but I never learned how to play nice. And if you've got a headache, I'd suggest aspirin. I hear it works wonders." She ducked backwards as a shadow animal lunged from behind her towards Hexus. As she did a back flip in the air, it passed through him on purpose wheeling around and growling. Shade didn't show off much but a few times to get away from an attack she had to use her flexibility.

The creature that the shadow image imitated stood it's ground, ready to make a leap towards Hexus on Shade's command. Shade smirked as other creatures formed a bigger circle and others watched. "Miss, if you'd like to join in I'm sure he'd love some extra help. Otherwise, you can watch. I'd rather not have a three way fight, it makes it terribly hard to keep track of which creature is eating who." Skip backed up and Shade climbed onto his back, resting her arms onto his horns on his head. She looked from Hexus to Thalia. "People just don't know when to mind their own business these days, do they Skip?" The animal scoffed as if to make a short laugh.

"Well dear," sneered Thalia, "it's too bad you don't like three way fights. If you are going to fight then I must stop you... meaning I must fight also." she drew her knives, one per hand. The flame in the girl's hand began to lick at both the blades, they would hurt badly if they stabbed you now, like a boiling claw taring through your meat. Some of the surrounding creatures seemed to be confused on which side to fight on, now that there would most definitely be a fight. There were two dark magic users and a girl who could fight with shadows. Dare they appose the girl who mutated them and cared for them some? Dare they appose the boy who lived among them? Dare they appose the girl who played with darkness and shadows?

The bird hissed at Skip. Oh, yes the bird could hiss, quite loudly. If it came to the larger creature fighting her [the bird] it was clear she had the advantage. Her talons were sharp as knives, perfect for cutting flesh, and she could fly out of the way of his attacks without much issues. Thalia whistled sharply to bring the fight-hungry bird back to hovering on point ready for any command. The girls mussels were tight, she was ready for a battle, this would be fun.

Hexus could not react fast enough when the shadow monster went through him. He got kinda mad and bared his sharp teeth at Shade then summoned four shadow people behind him. The shadow people had glowing red eyes and every time they move a smoky red light would follow their eyes and their face kinda a had a skeleton appearance to them with their teeth showing and no skin to hid them. They looked more like zombies because how they moved their bodies and how they would lump their bodies to a side sometimes then stand straight up then lump to a side again.

Hexus's listened to the girls talking and smirked when he heard Thalia saying there was going to be a three way fight. This was going to be fun and Hexus could tell that Thalia was having fun as well. He thought to himself thinking Thalia was not such a bad person after all if she loved the thrill of fighting. Then he saw Thalia get ready for the fight that might happen now and got ready himself. Now the only thing to worry about was who was going to make the first move that would start the epic battle.

[Shade Grace]

Shade rolled her eyes at both of them. She pulled out her matana, Shadows imidiatly clinging to it, looing like black flames. Shade's eyes instantly went dark black and Skip seemed to have a black flame around him as well. "Well if you two plan to frill around with this, then lets get it done quicly. I've got business else where and I'd hate to show up covered in blood." She smirked as a few cretures stood next to Skip, the others still deciding on sides. "But if we must-" She stood up on Skip's back and called the shadows around them, all making sweeping movements and whirrling around them, shutting off the lake from anyone getting in or out. "Then who'd like to go first?" The Shadow animals all formed into on huge creature with white eyes and it howled , taking one bound to get behind Shade. It's cackle sounded like thousands of creatures making nos=ise at one, making a deafening sound.

The lake rippled and Shade quickly held the katana in ready position. She felt like having a good fight, but she knew she'd have to make it quick if she wanted to get anywhere. She'd be ready to defeat these comers easily if she new more about them, but now, she'd just have to take her chances. She wouldn't kill them because the village had a zero-tolerance for killing anything except the creatures and anything nessicary. Is this nescessary? She didn't think too long though, watching the bird sqwuack at Skip and he growled right back but never wavered so Shade wouldn't loose her balance. The other creatures that had chosen to side with Shade formed a semi-circle around in front of Sip and the giant Shadow beast, watching Thalia and Hexus. They were all ready for a fight now.

Thalia smirked as a small group of huge mutated assembled in a semi-circle behind her. These were the small part of her side, the bigger part was a flock of vulture-sized birds with knife sharp talons, bigger than her own bird Yew by far. Her mussels tensed in a crouch, she wanted to fight, but she wouldn't til someone else made the first move. This would give her warrant to fight, plus she was better when someone else attacked her. It was clear she wouldn't attack first.

Yew hovered, still waiting not really patiently. The creature was practically begging to be allowed to sink her talons into flesh. One of the large monsters, a... it was so mutated it was hard to tell what it was, pawed the ground. It had two unsightly heads and sharp retractable claws, but it wasn't a cat for it's heads were almost reptilian. Thalia smirked lightly, glancing at Hexus, she realized she had to take in whole battlefield at once unless she wanted to be seriously injured. Good then, she could use her brain this fight. A challenge, Thalia liked challenges.

She smiled lightly at the thought and readied her blades.

Hexus waited and waited and got anger that no one else made a move so he decided to make the first move. "EVERYONE DIE NOW!!! He shouted and the shadow people charged at Shade. Then he summoned more shadow people witch rushed at the creatures that sided with Shade.

Hexus turned and started to walk away from the fight then he stopped and turned when he was far from it not wanting to get hit by anything. From where he was he continued to summon shadow people who ran at Shades army of creatures.

Then Malice and Agony appeared behind Hexus holding black scythes then when Hexus gave the order to attack they ran at Thalia and her army of creatures.

"I WILL CRUSH EVERYONE NO ONE WILL BE SHOWN MERCY! DIE DIE DIE DIE DIIIIIIIIIIE!!! Hexus shouted his eyes glowing orange and laughing insanely

[Shade Grace]

Shade flew up at the last minute, her foot getting scratched by one of the creatures. The beast behind her swept into the ground, clinging to a few of the creatures on Shade's side's legs and taking them over. She gave Hexus a look, but saw the two girls running after Thalia. "For a second there I thought you were only going after me. Good to know you're sharing the love." The creatures attacked the shadow people, tearing into them as much as they could. Skip ignored them tough, tearing through whatever was in his way, heading for Hexus. Shade didn't send anything after Thalia however, since she hadn't attacked her yet. It was only fair in Shade's mind to attack when attacked. Fighting without a reason was low on her opinion.

Shade dodged the swings and hits of the shadow people, plunging her sword through them. The flames licked through their sullen bodies, burning through them. They were shadow flames, something that she had great use for when other people with Shadow powers decided to attack her and her group on missions or such. She wasn't worried about the other creatures, most of them seemed to be doing fine. And whatever died, the Shadow Beast would sneak out of them and back into another creature, or Skip. Shade easily called more shadow things into the fight, one of them sweeping past Agony & Malice and scratching their cheeks before she got to Thalia.
