Seriously what was wrong with this shadow? Did it just think that it could taste, or could it really taste her blood? Whatever it was it was just plain unnatural and an abomination—though who was she to criticize the value of someone else’s life when she didn’t even value her own? Shaking her head there was some blood splattered helter-skelter and she held her jaw, fingering it to see if it was broken. Although it pained her to move it she figured out that it was not broken, a nice thing because she really liked eating (or as much as she could enjoy anything).
Noticing the flash of orange in her assailant’s eyes she instinctively dodged her next punch, thanking her body for actually responding, and punched her…in the crotch. Though a bit of an unorthodox move Reyshi had done it because it was the closest part of the girl that she could reach, and realized that if she lived through this it would at least be an amusing memory for her. Who actually punches there in a fight? Shaking the stupid thought from her head she rolled away from the girl and hit her head on a tombstone. Feeling oh so graceful she stood up and wondered what to do.
Run? He’d just send an army of creepy shadows after her. Fight? She’d lose. So what? The teen would not beg and grovel at the Boogieman’s feet even if it cost her her life but if she kept standing there in indecision she would surely die. Returning to the forest would hand her the same fate for she’d just fall asleep and a monster would inevitably find and eat her. Instead she turned her eyes to Hexus and looked him up and down, as if waiting for him to do something to alleviate the situation she found herself in. But wasn’t it partially his fault in the first place?
“Why are you out here?” An out of place inquiry she knew, but if she was going to die Reyshi needed to know why the Boogieman was out here all alone (the girls didn’t count as companions).

Agony's eyes widened when she got hit in the crotch even though there was nothing there that a boy had it still hurt. She slowly took steps back her hands over her crotch then when the pain went away she took her hands away from that area. Malice laughed at agony and could not stop. Agony quickly turned to Malice and Hexus.SHUT UP MALICE YOU LITTLE BRAT! Agony shouted. Malice then stopped laughing and hid behind Hexus and peeked her head out from behind him.
Hexus smirked and was happy to see that the girl was finally putting up a fight. "Agony now that this girl is finally fighting back im gonna take over now." Hexus said calmly. "WHAT!!! but master i can handle it i swear." Agony said not wanting to stop fighting but then suddenly Hexus's eyes turned orange and right away Agony stopped arguing with him and looked at the ground.
"Yes master......i understand." Agony said then disappearing as well as Malice leaving Hexus alone with the girl. "I'm glad that you have the strength to finally fight. So now how about i fight you?" He said then walked to her and stopped when he was seven feet away. "Also a part of me feels that i should not answer your question sense you never answered mine but oh well i'll tell you. I once lived in the village that you protect but was banished long ago. If you want more info about me you should talk to the the village council that is if you make it out of here alive." Hexus said then after holding out his open hand. Shadows soon started coming out of the ground and went into his hand where he then morphed the shadows into a dark sword.
The blade was long and sharp and had a hand guard on it that looked like a skull. "On guard." Hexus said calmly putting his other hand behind his back.

Reyshi listed to the whole exchange of Hexus and the other girl, but her neck ached from moving her eye sight in between the two as they spoke. She almost grinned at the small girl as she laughed, amused that someone else found her action comical but also slightly insulted. So what if she’d punched someone there? It wasn’t a bad place to punch. Belatedly it crossed her mind that the girl—Malice was it?—was most likely laughing at the one on the receiving end of her mishap, but said nothing as she leaned heavily against the tombstone she’d hit her head against.
So they feared the Boogieman themselves, but didn’t leave. Why? Was it because he had created them with his twisted power, or something else? Love couldn’t be it—love didn’t really exist—and loyalty didn’t seem to be it either because who could be loyal to a nutcase? Well…she could, if spoken to at the right time with persuasive words. Watching the girls disappear she rested her gaze on the only one left and wondered what would happen, but knew it wouldn’t be anything good. Hearing him address her she replied with a slight glare, “Strength,” she scoffed, “does it really look like that?”
But her question had been answered and she knew that if she didn’t even try to fight back she would die—and she’d much rather go out fighting then have a hole in her chest like that shadow replication of her. Insulted as he said she cared about the village she looked at him coldly, almost hatefully, “I answered, and I am not protecting the village. You simply have nothing I want in return.” The heck she’d speak to the council. That would put her on the map as someone in the village to watch, and not in a good way (though how was it ever good?).
Seeing him bring a weapon into existence as if he was god she couldn’t help but let out an inner groan. Not another fight! Though she was going to fight back immediately Reyshi was sick of doing it and wanted nothing but to lie down on the ground and rest for the night. Even if it was in the open graveyard and her night terrors came sooner she would welcome them with open arms if she could merely close her eyes for a second. Hand on her dagger she attempted to stand without leaning on the gravestone but found her steps wobbly and her vision blurred.
Well. Time to die. She thought to herself.

Hexus never answered her back thinking if she could punch agony below the belt then she could fight him. He tightly gripped his sword and was thinking what body part he should attack first his eyes staring at her like he was staring into her very soul. "Lets see if you can earn the right to live shall we? Don't you dare hold back either cause i wont be. Hexus said in a dark tone of voice.
"Give me all you got get mad if you have to i don't care show me your violent side. DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!! Hexus said getting pumped by his words while dark aura started appearing around him. He quickly ran to her swinging his sword up in the air then swinging it down toward Reyshi not giving her any warning. Once Hexus got like this there was no use talking to him he became a killing machine showing no emotion for his opponent.
Anyone who fought him while he was like this never make it out the battle without being scared up or never make it to see tomorrow again but maybe this girl could be the first to do so and that was a big maybe.

What…the…heck. Was this guy some sort of fighting fanatic? Well that would explain why he was out in the forest all by his lonesome, but still how could he get so pumped for a simple fight? Perhaps he had been a hunter back in the village before he’d been banished for whatever crime he had committed—murder, probably something to do with his strange power—and fighting was all he knew. Reyshi couldn’t deny that it was a handy skill in the forest but had he gone insane being all alone with just monsters and shadows to speak with, because that’s what it looked like.
Taking in his sword once more she felt a pang in her shoulder from the wound inflicted by the first shadows that had attacked her but ignored it as the blood slowly dripped down onto the ground, pooling around her shoes. Wearing black the red color did not stand out much, but her clothes were sticky and her grip slippery as some of it ran down her arm and under her gloves, making them fiercely uncomfortable. Ignoring all the feelings that wouldn’t help her in the fight she pushed her body away from the tombstone as she fell against it for a second and tried to focus her attention on her opponent, knowing full well that if she didn’t focus she’d die.
I’ll die anyway. She thought pessimistically as her vision cleared and she watched the Boogieman come closer to her. Dodging his sword at the last second she knew she was at a disadvantage; sword fighting or anything close range had never been her strong point, she preferred to fight long range with a bow and arrow. Still she would make the best of what she had and perhaps improve her skills at it, hey maybe she’d even get lucky and survive this unusual encounter?
Side stepping to her right she tried to stay away from Hexus’ range, but it was difficult as his strides were much longer than hers and he had as much energy as an enraged bull left to destroy a small citadel. Knowing she’d have to try to subdue him in any way—even if he died or she died trying—she hesitated for a fraction of a second and tried to embed her dagger in his side, specifically just below the lowest right rib.

As Hexus came close to her and swung his sword at her. He saw her dodge the attack and went on the attack herself seeing her dagger coming at him and quickly jumped back and slid a little. "HAHAHA! that's right fight back i love it HAHAHAHA! Your fast young one keep using that speed on me your gonna need it." Hexus said with a twisted smile getting into a fighting stance and ran at her again this time his sword was coming straight like he was trying to stab her specifically aiming for her neck.
Gruesome thoughts came to Hexus's mind thoughts like his sword going through her neck her eyes widen and then her vision fading into darkness then dieing. Hexus thought of many ways to kill this girl and each one he thought was beautiful. Thinking about this girls life slipping away was a thrill to Hexus. He knew that he had become a suck person and he blamed it on the village for betraying him and sending him to live with the mutated animals.
OOC:Lol. Aww don't say that your fighting writing is fine.

Damn it. Reyshi cursed in her head as he dodged her attack fluidly. Of course he’d have experience dodging things, she reminded herself, he lived in the forest. Where there was no room for error one slip, one unguarded second could be like forfeiting and running into the surrounding monster’s arms. But what if the monsters were people? She herself knew from experience that human monsters could and did exist, and it would explain Hexus’ unfriendly behavior towards her (though ‘unfriendly’ didn’t even begin to cover it’). Still the purple haired teen was not about to let him off the hook no matter the reason.
A small scowl bloomed on her face, as dark as the night sky above them, and her eyes glittered as she took in his movements. She didn’t care for his laughter or his statements and tried her best to ignore what sounded to her like insane laughter, because laughter should not be present in a fight to the death. She didn’t notice the change in her expression for she was too caught up in surviving and attempted to dodge his sword, but it nicked her neck. Pain seared from the small wound but she brushed it aside because at least he hadn’t slashed her jugular.
Ducking down she attempted to swipe his feet out from under him, but found that his feet weren’t touching the ground. Wait what was this? No, this wasn’t possible. Feet walked on the ground! Rolling away hastily she succeeded in bashing her head against yet another tombstone and she let out a small whine of pain from it and her shoulder. The tombstone, old and dilapidated, crumbled at the impact of her small body against it and she wondered, just for a second, who lay buried underneath where she and the Boogieman were fighting. Would she soon join them? No that thought was silly; Hexus wouldn’t bury her. Muttering a small “ow” she attempted to get up, noticing that each try was more difficult than the last.
OCC: >.> If you say so. Lol I dunno why, but Hexus thinking about how to kill her made me laugh xD

Hexus smiled when Reyshi saw that he was hovering in the air and laughed a little but then stopped when he saw her hit her head once on a tome stone more and sighed. "Your a very clumsy girl you know that? You keep hitting your head on tome stones. Careful try not to hurt yourself cause i want to be the one to hurt you HAHAHAHA! but anyway whats wrong you look like you seen a ghost and your right you are seeing one. This is my shadow phantom form and in this form i am able to float and take on a ghost like appearance."
Hexus then smiled once more then opened his mouth wide the kind of wide that no normal human can do then stuck his hand inside his mouth and pulled out another sword that looked like the one he already had. "Lets kick this fight up a bit. I must admit your very cute looking girl but....its to bad that your body will be cut into tiny bits. Oooh if you were only older but oh well DIE!!!" Hexus shouted then soon after swung the swords down at Reyshi with quick speed.
Could Reyshi dodge the attack and escape death? If she wanted not die here she better or else it would be bye bye life and hello afterlife.
OOC:Lol wow.

“Tch.” Reyshi managed out as she sent a slight glare at her opponent. She didn’t care for his comments, finding them useless in a fight. Except they weren’t exactly useless, they were demoralizing the young girl little by little, as if a small chisel was taken to a clay model. Whether he realized his words were having this affect on her Reyshi did not know but she felt insulted and silly to have him notice and comment on how she kept hitting her head on something. It wasn’t her fault, the damn fighting arena was too confined for her to actually fight in and these obstacles made it more difficult than it already was.
Shadow form? She thought as her glare held a tinge of question in it she knew would probably never be answered. It helped her have a rough sense of what his power was, and she now knew that if that form was a ‘phantom’ then he would have a normal human form. For a fleeting second she wondered what he looked like. Had he been like any other boy in the village, had she possibly even met him, been friends with him when she was a happy child? Perhaps he’d been relatively attractive, a guy she would try to pursue if she wasn’t so anti-social.
The thought was rudely cast aside as he opened his mouth, seeming to unhinge his jaw (for what other explanation would let him open his mouth so wide) and pull out a sword. Ok now that was truly horrific. Reyshi could deal with his strange power, his unusual ability to float, and those odd shadow girls but pulling out a sword from one’s body? Now that was something she just could not fathom no matter how much she tried, and try she did as she stood there dumbfounded and stunned like a deer in headlights.
In that position she was barely able to make out his sentences but she abruptly snapped to her senses as he charged at her, easily spanning the distance between him and her in a matter of seconds. Damn tall people and their long strides…Oh wait he was floating! Keeping that fact in mind Reyshi couldn’t help but full on glare at him once she realized his words and, taking it as a blatant insult, she dodged his sword—again just by a hair—and grabbed his arm. Using it as a kind of pole she spun behind him and kicked his back growling, “I am not cute!”
OCC: I know I’m so demented. xD

Hexus was shocked that she caught his arm that he could not think of anything to do and then when she kicked him he stumbled forward and bumped into a tome stone and smashed through it and fell down. He laid there for a moment silently then started to laugh. First it was faint but started to get louder. Getting up slowly his back turned to Reyshi he stud there not laughing anymore then turned slowly to face her.
"Well now i did not see that coming and you are cute but if you do not wish to be cute then i'll fix that for you and slash up your face you just have to hold STILL!!!" Hexus shouted rushing at Reyshi swinging his right arm in the air then swung down with it at her with great speed.
Now he could see that she really did want to live and it pumped him up more seeing Reyshi fight for her life. It was disappointing that she did not think she was cute no matter how much Hexus thought she was but if that's what she thought then it could not be helped. "COME ON KEEP SHOWING ME YOUR ANGRY FACE I LOVE IT HAHAHAHA!" Hexus shouted as the sword continued to come down at her still with great speed. Could Reyshi counter his attack again?
OOC:I like that lol

Reyshi panted as she stared down at her opponent when he crashed through the tombstone like a ball through a tower of cups. Just like the game it was highly satisfying to see him topple over the tombstone because of what she’d done, and more satisfying that he hadn’t done anything to prevent it. That probably wasn’t her doing because how could she have stopped him from reacting? Ah, if only she had useful electricity based power instead of her useless shadow one that only served to confuse and drain her of energy and to isolate herself from the rest of the community. Then she could try to stun the man lying in front of her, partially hidden by the annoying fog. Well at least now he wasn’t floating. That was better, right?
Hearing his demented laughter she held her breath for a second and wondered if he would throw another insult at her, and throw one he did. Cute? Why did he insist on pointing out that obvious patronizing lie? Although any other girl would be happy to get such a compliment—not from someone trying to kill them, hopefully—Reyshi was not normal and didn’t consider herself any form of attractive. She was far too skinny, her skin was a sickly white that made her veins seem more prominent, she had bags under her eyes, and her hair was always unruly. Add a sloppy wardrobe and what do you get? A person who looks like a lunatic living in a graveyard.
A sharp intake of breath later she went in reverse as he came at her, desperately trying to dodge his attacks. Not quick enough she got slashed a considerable number of times but could always avoid it landing on her key arteries and veins, a feat she had no idea how she was accomplishing. She came up with and discarded many ideas of how to better protect herself from his ferocious onslaught, and her face tried not to show pain. She accomplished this…somewhat. Being human she was not immune to pain and some of it leaked out onto her face each time his sword sliced through her skin, and some of her own blood was splattering onto her face, restricting her vision.
Not watching where she was going she tripped over the remains of another tombstone, or what she thought was one. In reality they were little white stones that seemed to be in the form of a cairn as if someone had come and respectfully stacked them one after another in that form. Falling backwards she ignored the numb sensation of the shoulder wound and grabbed a rock, tossing it at his head before rolling away. Hey a rock could hurt him…if it didn’t crumble at the contact. Forcing herself to her feet she spit out the horrible coppery taste from her mouth as she looked at Hexus, wondering what he would do next and knowing she wouldn’t be able to react anymore, her body was simply too fatigued and injured.
It didn’t surprise her that she lost (she would’ve been astounded if she won) but she hadn’t even put up a good fight. If only she hadn’t been so tired in the first place perhaps she would’ve stood a small chance, she knew she could at least have dodged a good number of his attacks unlike what she had just done. To keep fighting was futile now as she could hardly lift the hand that held the dagger, it slipping and unsteady in her shaking grip. “So I guess you’re going to kill me now.” She said it as a statement, knowing that asking would be pointless.
OCC: She die now! D8 …. xD How dare she not last two months!?

When he saw that he cut her and watched her trip again his eyes widened then a angry look quickly appeared on his face. He was gonna attack again but stopped his second swing of his sword and let his hand drop to his side. He was silent for a moment bearing his sharp teeth at her. He was so very disappointed in her "No...no...no no no no no no NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" He shouted his eyes glowing orange now and his swords vanishing and his legs appearing.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU! YOUR SO WEAK AND PATHETIC!.....you were showing me promise but now your showing me shit......useless useless.....USELESS YOUR USELESS!!! RRRAAAAAA!!!" Hexus screamed and rushed at her dark aura surrounding him as he did. He quickly stuck his open hand out in front of him and was trying to grab her if he could.
OOC:Lol awww don't worry. You don't know if he is going to kill her. He might try to have a romantic moment with her and look into her eyes and kiss her lmao.

Reyshi blinked at his reaction, wondering why he had lowered his arm. It couldn’t be hesitation (not after how pumped he was) and it certainly wasn’t pity. She would’ve accepted anything but pity because she always say that from the glances that people gave her, or when other food gathers asked how she was after looking over her body. She hastily attempted to hide the surprise behind an apathetic façade, but knew that he might have seen the expression. Why did this stranger, this probable murderer, have to bring so many reactions out of her?
Hearing him exclaim, softly at first but drastically changing in a second, she watched him as if he was having a meltdown and was acting crazy. But what would be crazy for this guy? No matter, he seemed highly disappointed in her and she thought bitterly Well what the hell were you expecting? and communicated this with her eyes, glaring straight into his bright orange eyes she recognized conveyed anger. Yes, she would admit, she was pathetic and as weak as a newborn, but she had not shown promise. Anyone would have fought for their lives if a lunatic was attacking them and she merely did the same.
Willing her body to react as he came closer she immediately failed. What a great time to be so tired and lost, so weak and unguarded, and so alone than when someone was attacking her in a remote part of the forest that was probably far away from the village, secluded by disuse and rumors of the Boogieman. Her arm twitched and lifted as his hand landed on her, and she tried to make him release her even though he was far stronger than her. “Why...” She took a deep breath as blood dripped down her body and made a small pool around her feet, “do you care…? You won.”
OCC: xD That is so cute! Rogues need love too. <3 Also I don’t know if that counts as god-moding, but I assumed he would grab her. ._. I’ll delete it if it counts as god-moding.

Hexus had grabbed her by the shirt and the dark aura around Hexus vanished when he did and his eyes went back to normal. When he heard her words his eyes quickly flashed orange then back to blue. "You think i won?....Do you really think i'm gonna count this as a win.... HUH! He shouted before quickly grabbing her neck not chocking her but his grip was kinda tight. "I don't know whats wrong with you. I'm starting to think that you love to get hurt. Is that it? Yeah i bet you get turned on when your in pain." Hexus said with a twisted smile slowly appearing on his face.
"Agony would love to have her way with you if she found out that you enjoy pain. Maybe i should tell her. Maybe i should bring her out right now would you like that?" He said and said the last part softly to her as he let her neck go then looked into her eyes while the twisted smile slowly disappeared as their eyes met each other Hexus saying nothing. Then after a while he slowly lifted his hands from his side and was about to put his arms around her but hesitated for a moment then really put his arms around her and pulled her closer so that their bodies were touching. Reyshi's blood started to cover the front of his shirt but sense he was wearing black you could not see it.
He held her in his arms and looked into her eyes one more time before his eyes closed and he just stayed there holding her for a minute feeling her heart beat on his chest his breathing relaxed and his face looking calm feeling the blood finally go through the shirt and hugged her tighter like if he wanted her blood to touch his skin. He opened his eyes and looked at her again. "Get stronger.....do you hear me?" He said softly in her ear before he put his hand softly on her face and licked some blood off on the side of her neck and let her go and backed away from her a little. "Become stronger training your mind, body and soul. Do this for me then.....we could fight to the death......"
OOC:Ok then. Wow... i have to admit that got my heart beating fast. I got into it. Awwwww how romantic lol.

Of course you should count that as a win. Reyshi thought in anger for if he didn’t count this fight as a win then she would’ve died over an insignificant and unavoidable squabble. Who dies over a squabble? No if he was going to kill her he better count it as a win she decided as she felt her throat tighten. Dropping her dagger she tried to push him away, or at least loosen his grip that was constricting her airway. She struggled in vain, trying to kick him, and listened to his words, and wondered if he was right. Did she actually enjoy pain? She certainly wasn’t doing anything that would bring her happiness.
But to get ‘turned on’ by pain? No, uh-uh, that was definitely not the case whatsoever. She had hardly ever had any sexual desires for another person, and didn’t pursue them when she did. Sure sometimes she got a weird feeling while watching a man, but that didn’t mean she was turned on…Did it? Either way she certainly wasn’t feeling that way at the moment and didn’t care for his twisted smile that was teasing her weakness and her supposed condition of being ‘turned on’. Coughing blood onto his hands as she tried to respond with the kind words of ‘screw you’ she closed her eyes in pain as he mentioned Agony, who she assumed was that whore she had rightfully punched in the crotch. Did that happen so long ago?
To her surprise he softened his voice, a thing she was not expecting him to do what with his anger. Did he really switch emotional extremes that quickly? Glad to be rid of his hands she took a deep breath and rubbed her neck where his hands had left bruises, and couldn’t help but look up at him questioningly. What she like that? Hell no she wouldn’t like Agony coming back…Her anger ebbed for him after a second of looking into his eyes and she wondered if he felt lonely in the forest. That was stupid, she reminded herself, he had those two shadows and had just attacked her. She should not feel sympathy for him.
For some reason she could not pinpoint she did not run away when he released her, but stayed standing in front of him and staring into his eyes until he hesitated. She watched his arms cautiously and wondered if he was finally going to kill her but to her surprise he put them around her body, as if she was his friend or a significant person. Pulled into the unwanted hug she immediately panicked and began screaming in her mind, “Let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go, LET ME GO YOU LUNATIC!!!”
Reyshi wanted to scream it aloud, to have him know that this hug was not wanted, but she felt like she needed it. Pressed against him she didn’t feel like he was a murderer, but just another lonely soul asking for company that he could not find, and perhaps did not wish all the time. How long had she yearned for the touch of another that didn’t send her power reeling, or that she didn’t push away? How long had it been since she had allowed someone to bring their arms around her and hold her close to his or her body? Years, almost a decade if she counted correctly.
So she leaned against his body and consented to being held by the person who had tried to kill her, feeling the shirt against her cheek and the blood pulsing through his veins. It soothed her nerves slightly to have something steady to listen to in the unstable world she lived in, and she closed her eyes for a moment to listen to the steady beat before looking back up at him with question held in her eyes. To her surprise he closed his eyes after a second and she watched his face—or what she could see of it, which was just his eyes.
Did he feel remorse for attacking her, or for going to kill her soon? Was he disappointed that she did not try to fight her way out of his grip, or happy that she accepted him? After all he had mentioned he was banished from the village, so would it be so wrong that he wanted that acceptance to come from someone even if it was a stranger? For some odd reason Reyshi smiled softly up at his calm face and placed her head back on his chest. She ignored all the blood that had pooled on it and wondered if her hair would be stained a dark violet, but if it was what would she care? No one would notice, and she certainly didn’t care at the moment. She felt calm and safe in his arms when he held her closer—the exact opposite she would’ve figured she felt if this unlikely scenario had occurred—and she let out a small gasp of pain in protest.
Hearing his voice in her ear her eyes snapped open and she found herself shivering. Noticing he had asked her a question and probably expected a response she nodded, but felt his hand on her face and a lick on her neck. Ok, pain certainly didn’t ‘turn her on’ but she found that a light blush engulfed her obviously flustered face at his tongue against her neck and she wanted him to do it again. Not that she would admit it. Who gets turned on when bleeding to death and being held by their attacker? She was just so odd; no wonder no one wanted to be her friend.
Knees buckling she fell down once she was no longer being held up, and looked down at the ground to hide her shameful blush that she should not have been sporting. She shut her eyes tight as she felt tears prickling her eyes for like a child she wanted to be back in his comforting embrace and forget the pain that had engulfed her body once more, and could feel the blood seeping through her clothes. Responding with a pained voice she told him, “I don’t want to fight, I don’t want to die.” She coughed abruptly, the pain on her neck agitating her, but she forced herself to look up into his eyes as she asked him the one thing she wanted to know, “Why did you do that?”
OCC: AWWWWWWWWWW X3 He’s so cute like that~ and lol you got into it? xD I never thought guys got into romance all that much. Also, what did you mean by "Ok then"?
